Mission: What’s Your Favorite Sweet Treat?

Martha Stewart announces her favorite cupcakes, so I decided to announce my favorite chocolates.
MarieBelle, founded by New York chocolatier Maribel Lieberman, is about the chicest and sweetest confections around. There are more than two dozen fabulous (and rich) flavors including Earl Grey Tea, Saffron, Lemon and Hazelnut.

But, what sets these artisan treats apart from others is the whimsical designs that embellish the tops from fashion silhouettes and kissing couples to geometric designs and exotic prints. The chocolate comes cutely boxed in different shapes and sizes like The Mini Tote, $10, containing two chocolate bon bons.
Next time your in NYC, you might want to pay this choco shop a visit. Read my exclusive interview with Lieberman.
So, what’s your favorite sweet treat?

Mission: I Need A Small Travel Bag
I’ve been looking for a bag with an across-the-body strap that would be good for airplane travel (to hold ticket, wallet, keys, etc.). I think I found it in the Coach Bleecker Leather Swingpack, but with dimensions of 7 X 8.5 inches, it seems a bit too small … I like to jam-pack my bags.
What do you think of this bag, cute or no?

Mission: What Should I Wear to Hot Spot Ketchup in LA?
A reader recently wrote and asked what she should wear to Ketchup, a hot little restaurant in Los Angeles frequented by reality show celebs from The Hills and Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
They serve up gourmet sliders and German style fries (minus the newspaper), and although Ketchup is a modern spin on a burger hop, don’t be mistaken, this is no In and Out Burger.
This chic eatery does for burgers what Coco Chanel did for the little black dress — not ordinary by any means.
So here’s the deal …
If you’re going to sport a t-shirt, make it an Ed Hardy tee like the “Love Kills Slowly” shimmer tee.
If you’re going to wear jeans, make them Chloé like the Classic Wide Leg Flare Jean.
If you want to step out in flats, make them Marni like the blue metallic leather flats with elastic contrast trim.

Mission: Dream Bag
Marc Jacobs and Richard Prince joined forces to create the “it” bag of the season, the Weekender Pulp Monogram tote bag, part of Louis Vuitton’s spring and summer 2008 collection. During a photo shoot I had the breathtaking opportunity to handle this glorious creation for a mere hour or two, but it was just enough time to fall madly in love.
(Weekender PM, $3,250 at Louis Vuitton stores)
The lacquered look of the bag is amazing — it’s constructed of a denim jacquard print and trimmed in a soft cantaloupe-orange, calfskin leather (the French know their fabrics). The tote also comes in a canary yellow, but The Chic Spy thinks the orange is insanely gorgeous, of course.
Being so graced to be in the presence of this ultra chic carrier got me to dreaming about the sartorial adventures we could share on the West and East coasts like …
Catching a fashion show in San Francisco’s Union Square Park during Fashion on the Square, sporting these Born “Zambia” flats, $87 at bornshoes.com. They would be cute and comfortable as I perused the chic shops in downtown Frisco.

or …
Savoring soy treats at a chic café on Greenwich avenue in New York called Soy Luck Club (after the “Joy Luck Club”) that I’ve been dying to visit. I’ve read many great reviews about their soy-licious fare, like soy mochas and pressed bagels with banana, honey and soynut butter.

I want to try their “Spring” salad with basil, tomato, red onion and mozzarella, and a strawberry Soyafrost, about $15 for both … yum, yum.

I bet this lovely tote looks fabulous on the streets of Paris, too!
